Where is my Refund?

Yay, you got a refund! The timeline for processing refunds will depend on the IRS or State Revenue Department you filed with. Typically, it will be within approximately 2 weeks from when your return was accepted, but may take longer depending on how quickly they are able to process returns.

If it has been 2 weeks and you haven't received your refund, visit the website of the department you are waiting on (either IRS or State).

IRS: (click here) click the box that says "Refund Status" and follow directions from there.

California FTB: (click here) There will be a link that says "Where's My Refund?".

Each state will have their own website.

Please be sure you are going through the official government site for your inquires.

Do you take walk-ins?

We do not take walk-in's but will be happy to make an appointment for you! Please call our office to make an appointment at (760) 781-1700. If leaving a voicemail, please be sure to leave your name, phone number and reason for calling so we may assist you in the most efficient way possible.

How do I schedule an Appointment?

Please call our office to make an appointment at (760) 781-1700. If leaving a voicemail, please be sure to leave your name, phone number and reason for calling so we may assist you in the most efficient way possible.

If you are a returning client, you may already have an appointment scheduled. We pre-schedule appointments based on when you came in the previous year. If your pre-scheduled appointment does not work for you, please feel free to call and reschedule to a more convenient day/time.

Do I have to come in for an appointment?

Nope! We have many clients that do not come in for a physical appointment. Some we have never met in person! We accept your information in almost any way you are comfortable giving it to us. The most common ways are:

  • Electronically (Email, Sharefile & Intuit Link are the most used)
  • Fax - (866) 512-1792
  • Snail Mail - 300 W. Grand Ave, Ste. 205, Escondido, CA 92025
  • Drop-off - During tax season (February-April 15th) we are open between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday and limited hours on Saturdays.

A good rule of thumb: Please call before hand to be sure there will be someone here to accept your package. Life happens when we least expect it and we would hate for you to make a trip to us and no one is in the office for you!

Once we have your information, someone in our office will contact you for questions or to let you know your return is completed. You may also set up a phone call with your preparer to go over your return and ask questions of your own.

How do I know when my appointment is?

For clients who have a pre-scheduled appointment, we will send out a letter with your appointment day and time, as well as some information regarding the upcoming season. You will also receive a phone call to confirm your appointment a few days before hand. If you need to reschedule, please do not hesitate to call or email us!

If you would prefer to cancel your appointment and send in your information just let us know! We will be happy to accept your info as soon as you have it all together and go from there. We know life can be hectic and stopping for a tax appointment isn't always something you are able to do at the time.

How much will this cost me?

Like snowflakes, no two returns are the same! Please inquire with our office staff to get a quote for your particular situation. We do our best to keep prices competitive without sacrificing the quality of work.

Do you e-file?

Yes! In fact, unless there is a specific reason for it, paper filing is a thing of the past. Almost all tax returns are done through electronic filing now and we are no exception!

You also have the option of direct deposit for refunds or direct debit for payments. You can still opt for a paper check to be mailed to you, but it will take a significantly longer amount of time to get to you.
